Junior Programs
JUNIORS
Juniors are placed according to age & ability. There are a maximum of 5 players per court.
Most clinics are offered 7 days a week.
| WTC PEE WEES: Age 4 – 6 | Our Quick Start Program is an exciting way to learn the game of tennis & have fun! This program helps to develop eye-hand coordination through various activities. (foam balls) |
| WTC HOT SHOTS: Ages 6 – 9 | Classes focus on eye-hand coordination, stroke readiness & partner rallying. (red balls) |
| WTC FUTURE STARS: Ages 8-10 | Focus is on proper stroke technique & strategy. Players will be able to use the skills learned in various game situations in preparation for Junior Team Tennis. (orange balls) |
| WTC FUTURE STARS: Ages 10 - 12 | Classes are designed for low intermediate to the intermediate player. Focus is on proper stroke technique, serving, rallying & learning to keep score. (green ball & yellow ball) |
| WTC ADVANCED TRAINING: Ages 12-18 | This program offers juniors a more challenging & intensive tennis experience. Classes are designed to prepare players for high school team tennis as well as USTA tournaments. A try out is required in order to enter this level. (yellow balls) |
| JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS: Ages - 8 14 | Committed players are encouraged to participate on age appropriate teams. Practices are held during the week & supervised by a pro. Focus will be on doubles & singles strategy, serving, keeping score, sportsmanship & fun!! Matches are played predominantly on the weekends. Addititional fee required. |

We require 24-hour notice for all private lesson cancellations.
JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS
--YELLOW AND GREEN BALL TOURNAMENTS-— Get match tough.
Tournament play Saturdays 5:00pm - 7:00pm, alternating weeks for green and yellow ball tounaments.

April Break
Sunday, April 14th through Saturday, April 20th there will be no junior or adult clinics, private lessons or point play.
We will re-open for all clinics and lessons starting Sunday April 21st.
Sesaon court play will be on as usual (with no pro on court).
There are limited open court rentals, please call the club for availabilty.
REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER PROGRAM 2024
Our Junior Summer Program begins the week of June 24, 2024 and runs weekly through August 23, 2024. An exciting & engaging program for children ages 5 -15. Emphasis is on proper stroke mechanics, ball control, court movement, game strategy, sportsmanship & competitive play. Hours are from 9:30am-12:30pm--Monday-Friday. Sign ups are currently taking place. Call: 203-255-3481 to reserve your spots!!
